Registration and County AGM on 13th September in Laragh
Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow’s year will soon begin with our annual AGM and Registration on Wednesday September 13th in Scoil Chaoimhín Naofa, Laragh (Eircode A98TR96) at 4pm. Tea and sandwiches will be served afterwards.
The AGM is an opportunity for teachers throughout Wicklow as members of Cumann na mBunscol to meet as both a sporting and teaching community to share and discuss activities and give feedback and recommendations for our organisation for the coming year. This year we will run a raffle for all those schools attending the AGM. Winners will be in with a chance of winning some of the following prizes for the school: a Wicklow jersey, footballs and sliotars, amongst other GAA related prizes. Please encourage your teacher colleagues to come along and join us.
This will be an ALL COUNTY AGM AND REGISTRATION for ALL SCHOOLS IN THE NORTH-EAST, SOUTH AND WEST.
SCHOOLS MUST ATTEND AND REGISTER AT THE AGM IF THEY WISH TO PARTICIPATE IN CUMANN NA MBUNSCOL ACTIVITIES THIS YEAR.
There will be a registration fee of 50 euro, which will cover all Cumann na mBunscol activities for the year but NOT sports day (this will be an additional €50 entry fee paid at the Sports Day meeting in June). The registration fee will cover growing costs, referee’s expenses etc. The AGM will allow us to create an accurate and up to date contact list and ensure that every school that wants to become involved in Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow activities can do so.
During the meeting there will be the election of officers to both county and north-east committees, as well as representatives from the south and west regions. Please bring €50 in the form of cash or a cheque along to the AGM.
