There was a magic morning of football in the West for 1st and 2nd classes at the Cumann na mBunscol blitz. Blessington GAA welcomed Valleymount, Kilbride, Educate Together, Gaelscoil na Lochanna, and St Mary's JNS. 163 children participated and they were a credit to their schools and parents. The standard from current and future players was heartening, and the challenge now for us is to maximise the numbers of these players. We had 8 teenagers refereeing and they were class. Thanks also to the teachers/SNA's and parents/coaches who made this happen. The pitches were in great condition as ever. Thanks to JP for having the pitches marked and ready to go. Cill Mhantáin Abú!
