AGM and Registration on 11th September in Laragh

Cumann na mBunscol Wicklow’s year will soon begin with our annual AGM and Registration. Please see main details below:

Venue: Lynhams Hotel, Laragh

Date: Wednesday September 11^th @4pm.

Fee: €50 Registration fee.

Refreshments: Tea and sandwiches will be provided.

Registration and Payment of Membership

Please bring €50 in the form of cash or a cheque along to the AGM.  If any school has trophies from previous competitions – please return these at the AGM.

The AGM is an opportunity for teachers to share and discuss activities and give feedback and recommendations for our organisation for the coming year.  This year we will run a raffle for all those schools attending the AGM. Winners will be in with a chance of winning some of the following prizes for the school: a Wicklow jersey, footballs and sliotars amongst other GAA related prizes. Please encourage your teacher colleagues to come along and join us.

Election of Officers

During the meeting there will be the election of officers to both county and north-east committees, we would encourage the south and west regions to nominate a representative to the county committee. If you would like to help out in any capacity you may contact me at runai.cnmbwicklow@yahoo.ie

As you can see there are officer roles unfilled. If you would be interested in joining the committee to fulfil a role or to assist in a role we would be delighted to have you. As you know we are all teachers, and without the support of each other we would not be able to provide all the wonderful sporting events over the academic year.
