Credit Union Cup

On Thursday 17^th May the Credit Union Cup hurling blitz was held in Bray Emmets GAA ground. Seven teams participated in the blitz these included: St. Cronan’s, St. Brigid’s, St. Pat’s, Kilcoole, Rathdrum Team 1 and Team 2 and Newtownmountkennedy.

Despite weather conditions all teams demonstrated a high standard of skill and sportsmanship throughout the blitz. All games were closely contested with Kilcoole and St. Pat’s emerging as the top two teams playing off in the final. St. Pat’s were the deserving winners.

Many thanks to the teachers, schools, referees and club officials who helped make the blitz a success. Many thanks also to the grounds men and to Bray Emmets for the use of their pitches.
