Camogie Blitz

On Thursday 24^th of May Kilcoole GAA Ground hosted the Cumann na mBunscol Cill Mhantáin annual camogie blitz. Glorious weather conditions provided the ideal setting for the games to take place. Three teams took part in the competition these included Kilcoole, St. Brigid’s Greystones and Bearna Chlé, Arklow. In all games were closely contested and the standard of skill was very high with Kilcoole and St. Brigid’s emerging as the top 2 teams. Kilcoole emerged as the overall winners.

Many thanks to the schools, teacher and parents that took part as their dedication is vital for the development of camogie in Wicklow. A sincere word of thanks to the referee, club officials and Kilcoole club for the use of their facility.
