Half Time Delight in Longford
10 boys from West Wicklow represented Wicklow schools in a halftime game during the Wicklow v. Longford Leinster Championship game at a sun drenched Glennon’s Brothers Pearse Park on Sunday 6th April. The boys put on a terrific display of football against their Longford counterparts, shading the result and getting the Wicklow crowd in good voice. A big thank you to the parents who brought the children to the game and to Longford Cumann na mBunscol for ensuring the game ran smoothly. Surely we will see many of these boys making their full Wicklow debut in the near future.
