Wicklow Take on the Dubs!
What a beautiful day in Aughrim, the sun was shining as Dublin travelled to the Garden County. 10 boys from Dublin and Wicklow played at half time in the Senior Football Championship Quarter Final. The boys were all very proud and excited to wear their county colours. Boys from Ravenswell Primary School, Kilcoole Primary School, Greystones Educate Together National School, Greystones Community National School and Gaelscoil na gCloch Liath represented Wicklow.
From the throw in the boys were quick to the ball scoring a point in the first few minutes.
Both counties played their hearts out during the game and we hope they will don their county jerseys in the future. Thanks to Lachlainn Hughes from Colaiste Croabh Abhainn for doing a great job refereeing.
