Rounders Blitz – Rathnew – 18th June
There will be a 6th class Rounders Blitz in Rathnew on the 18th June, this is a blitz that Cumann na mBunscol is hosting between 4 neighbouring schools in Wicklow Town. There will be 2 matches playing at the one time (pitch set up on either end of the GAA pitch), this will give all teams a chance to play at least 2 matches. This is just an idea for any other schools in close proximity to each other. Another suggestion would be to host a game against another school at 2 p.m. for example, this is working for many schools in Wexford. It would be fantastic to see other schools organising rounders matches or blitzes between each other.
