INTO Mini 7s Half Time Star Sophie

Well done to Sophie Scallan, St. Patrick’s NS Bearna Chlé, who had qualified to play in Croke Park having won the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Chill Mhantáin Skills competition. This is Sophie’s account of her experience:

‘From start to finish it was an amazing experience to play during the Dublin v Cork All-Ireland Semi Final. I had secretly wished to line out for Cork but had the pleasure of playing No.6 for Dublin. The excitement, thrill and experience will live with me forever and I am very grateful to have been able to play in Croke Park and represent my school, club and county for the day.’
