Allianz Cumann na mBunscol 3rd Class Hurling Blitz

A tremendous day of hurling took place in Kilcoole Primary School on Thursday last. The children from the third classes of Kilcoole Primary and Newtown Primary mixed together and enjoyed displaying their hurling skills. Over sixty children participated in a blitz where the emphasis was on participation for all in an atmosphere of fun. The teams were 8 aside with four players from each school on the same team. Each team were  given the name of a county and  all boys and girls played the games  in a high sporting manner. 

Thanks to the teachers from both schools, to the members of Kilcoole GAA club, and in particular Colm Gaskin for making this a highly enjoyable and well organised event.
