Wicklow Times Shield Day 1
Day one of the Wicklow Times Shield took place in Roundwood on 14th of November. There was a huge turnout on the day with fifteen schools taking part - Scoil Chualann, Newtownmountkennedy, Holy Rosary Wicklow, Kilcoole, Kilmacanogue, St.Brigids Greystones, St. Laurences Greystones, St. Laurences Roundwood, Templerainery Arklow, Moneystown, St.Fergals S.N.S, Gaelscoil Uí Cheadaigh, St.Kevins Greystones, Gaelscoil an Inbhir Mhóir and Aughrim N.S. The teams were divided into four groups and each team played at least three matches. There were some excellent displays of skill on the day making it very difficult for the teachers and coaches to pick their ‘Girl of the day’! Well done to every team that took part. Day two will take place early in the next term. Many thanks to all who helped make the day such a huge success!
