Blessington Win West Wicklow Allianz Coughlan Cup

Blessington No 1 School claimed the Allianz Coughlan Cup in the West after some great matches played on the Astro Turf in Blessington GAA grounds last week. After a series of matches Blessington topped the group from Lacken N.S in second position followed by Kilbride N.S in third. The standard of play on the day was of a very high standard and all players played in each of the matches. Many thanks to all players, teachers and parents who attended the blitz. A special thanks to Jim O Riordan and Cumann na mBunscol for arranging new cup and medals and to Blessington GAA grounds for the use of their pitch.
