Coaching Courses

Foundation Award – Hurling and Football

To be involved in this Foundation Award places will be filled on a ‘first come/first serve’ basis with places limited to 24 coaches and therefore it is vital to pre register by contacting  the relevant G.D.A.’s as soon as possible.                                  

There is a charge of €10 per person payable on the night.

Coaches must attend All Modules to qualify for certification in Hurling & Football. However if choosing one code coaches don’t have to attend all hours if choosing Hurling or Football. This will be explained on the first night!

Award One (Youth/Adult) Coaching Course

To be involved in this Award One Youth/Adult course, participants must have already completed Foundation Award Certification. Places will be filled on a ‘first come/first serve’ basis with places limited to 24 coaches and therefore it is vital to pre register by contacting Hugh Kenny on 087-2718537 or email hugh.kenny.gamesmanager.wicklow@gaa.ie as soon as possible. There is a charge of €75 per person payable to Wicklow GAA. 

Hurling Course will take place on Saturday 16^th Feb, 23^rd Feb, 16^th March, 23^rd March in Aughrim Community Pitch/Hall.

Football Course will take place on Saturday 16^th Feb, 23^rd Feb, 16^th March, 23^rd March in Blessington GAA.
