INTO Skills Challenge

The Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Skills Competition (INTO mini 7's) will take place on the 10^th and 11^th April in different centres around the county. It would be important to organise this in your own school this coming week as there will be very little time to do so after the Easter break. It involves picking two pupils in each code (Boys’ and Girls’ Football, Camogie and Hurling)  to represent your school at the regional event - as usual we remind every teacher that there are strict age limits attached to this competition.

The skill tests for all 4 codes for the North and West will take place in Bray Emmets and Hollywood GAA respectively on Wednesday 10th April at 11 a.m.
The skill tests for the 4 codes in the East and South will take place on Thursday 11th April in Arklow and Tinahely GAA clubs at 11 a.m.

The football skills include the solo run, the fist pass and the hook kick.  The hurling/camogie skills include the solo run, the ground strike on the run and the jab lift and strike.

Those selected will go forward to a county selection day which will be held on 17^th April in Aughrim.
