Avoca and Tinahely come out on top

South Schools Football Blitz 

Tinahely G.A.A grounds was the venue for the Division 2 Cumann na mBunscol Football Blitz for south schools sponsored by Allianz.  The schools that played the games on the day were Redcross N.S., Tinahely N.S.,  Kilcommon N.S. and Avoca N.S.  The Avoca N.S. team  were the surprise team  winning all their games with Tinahely N.S. finishing runners up.  These two schools have now qualified for the County Finals and can now look forward to playing at the Aughrim County Grounds.
