Indoor Camogie Blitz in Roundwood
Roundwood G.A.A Grounds played host to a 7 a side indoor camogie blitz on Thursday the 28th of November. Four teams took part in the blitz these included Kilcoole Primary School, Scoil Chualann Team 1 and Team 2 and Roundwood Primary School. A great display of skill was evident throughout the day. The games were fast paced with the emphasis placed on ground hurling. All matches were very closely contested however Kilcoole and Scoil Chualann emerged as the top two teams and will proceed to the indoor camogie finals in Aughrim next Thursday. We wish both teams the best of luck in the finals. A sincere thank you to Garrett Doyle for organising the blitz, Roundwood for the use of their facilities and to the teachers and pupils that took part in the blitz.
