Hurling Go Games in Aughrim

An Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Go-Games blitz was held in Aughrim Community Grounds for South schools recently for 6th class boys. It was nice to see St. Josephs Templerainey N.S., Arklow taking part in the games.  Also playing were Aughrim N.S., Carnew N.S. and Rathdrum B.N.S. While all the games were very exciting but the game between Carnew N.S. and Rathdrum B.N.S. was a real thriller with Carnew N.S scoring late in the game to gain a very well deserved draw. All the games were refereed by Mr K Gaskin, Eire Og Greystones. Well done to all who participated!
