All County Allianz Coughlan Competition

The first day of the Allianz Coughlan Competition was a huge success with around twenty five schools from all over Wicklow represented.  The sun shone all day on the players with excellent skills getting plenty of playing time in a blitz type format.  Schools got at least three or four games each.  Well done to all involved in its organisation, especially the county coaches for refereeing and to Garrett Doyle for all his hard work.  Also thanks to Bray Emmets GAA grounds for their fantastic facilities.  Just a reminder to all that the second and final round of the Allianz Coughlan Cup will take place next Wednesday 19th October at 11 a.m. in Bray Emmets GAA ground. Teams will be seeded depending on their performance from the previous week, therefore matches should be competitive and enjoyable for all.
