South Wicklow Allianz Hurling Blitz

Eight Schools from South Wicklow participated in an Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Hurling Blitz in Aughrim this week for  for 5th and 6th Classes. With the very warm weather and the Aughrim pitches in brilliant condition  it was ideal  for hurling at this time of the year. All the games were played in a very sporting manner with each school playing three games each. The primary  schools that attended were Rathcoyle, Coolafancy, Bearna Chle Arklow, Crossbridge, Tinahely, Carnew, Aughrim, and Annacurra.
