Foundation Award – DUAL Football and Hurling COACHING COURSE
To be involved in this Foundation Award places will be filled on a ‘first come/first serve’ basis with places limited to 24 coaches and therefore it is vital to pre register by contacting Colm Gaskin as soon as possible. There is a charge of €10 per person payable on the night
Venue: ST.PATRICK’S G.A.A CLUB WICKLOW TOWN
* The Foundation Award is the introductory award for coaches of Gaelic Games. The course is aimed at beginner coaches and will enable participants to assist a coach in the organisation of activities to develop hurling and football The course will run for two Saturdays and will cover four key modules, as well as introductory and conclusion modules.
These four modules are:
o Introduction to Games
o Skill Development
o Movement Skills
o Coaching Children, Youths and Adults
* This course is taking place in St Patrick’s G.A.A. Club Wicklow Town on both Saturdays (You must attend both days to qualify for certification)
