3rd and 4th Class Boys in Roundwood

A fine exhibition of skilful, fast moving and exciting Gaelic Football was on show in An Tochar GAA hall for the Allianz 3rd/4th class Go Games Blitz Thursday 22nd January. Give and go was the order of the day with high scoring evenly contested matches throughout.

2 teams from St Laurence's Roundwood NS and Nun's Cross NS Killiskey as well as 1 team from Moneystown NS participated in the 1st blitz.
Moneystown NS team were again represented in the 2nd blitz with Newtownmountkennedy NS and 2 teams from St Kevin's NS Glendalough.
Many thanks to Gary McGillycuddy, Peter Byrne, Jim O'Riordan, Sean Coakley for coaching the teams. Special mention to Ms Honner, Wicklow GAA CE coach Tommy Carroll and the Nun's Cross parents for all their work in preparing the 3rd/4th class boys for their introduction into Allianz Cumann na mBunscol games. We look forward to their continued participation in the 2015 games programme. A big thanks to Nick Nolan and An Tochar GAA for the use of the hall and their continued support of Allianz Cumann na mBunscol activities.
