Term Two and Three – Focus on Indoor Blitzes are non-competitive; outdoor are competitive

3^rd / 4^th Class Indoor Boys’ Football      

Indoor football tournament for boys in 3^rd and 4^th Class (The emphasis in this competition is on participation and sport for all, 7 a-side).  Week beginning 16^th January, your school will be contacted with venue and time.

O’Kelly Cup   - Indoor Girls Football

Indoor football tournament for girls in 3^rd and 4^th Class (The emphasis in this competition is on participation and sport for all – No age limit, 7 a-side).  Week beginning 23^rd January, your school will be contacted with venue and time.

Boys’ Football Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 1

1^st/2^nd March  Bray Emmets          

Eleven-a-side and no age limit at 11.45 a.m. (Teams will be graded on this day.)

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 1

8^th March at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – 9 a-side (Teams will be graded on this day.)

Boys’ Football Allianz Coughlan Cup Day 2     

15^th/16^th March Bray Emmets       

Nine-a-side at 11.45 a.m. (Teams will be in divisions from Day 1 and this is a competitive competition.)

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 2

22^nd March at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – 9 a-side (Teams will be in divisions from Day 1 and this is a competitive competition.)

INTO Skills Challenge       

(Two pupils per school may participate in each discipline - Boys’ and Girls’ Football, Camogie and Hurling.)

Please note if a child has already played in Croke Park they cannot take part in the skills competition. Participants must be born on or after January 1^st 2005

Regional events will take place on the week of 27^th March and those selected will go forward to a county selection day which will be held on the week of the 3^rd April in Ballinakill. 

Credit Union Cup    

3^rd May at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakill – One day boys’ nine-a-side hurling blitz

Allianz Camogie Blitz        

10^th May at 11.45 a.m. in Ballinakill – One day girls’ nine-a-side camogie blitz

Sports Day Meeting                      

1^st June at 8.00 p.m. in Newtownmountkennedy Primary School

It is imperative that any school participating in Sports Day 2016  is represented at this meeting

Wednesday 7^th June at 10.00 a.m. in Charlesland Sports and Recreational Centre (There are strict age limits for Sports Day)

3^rd and 4^th Class Boys/Girls Football

Week of 12^th June – Schools will be contacted regarding day they will be attending, time and venue
