Upcoming Coaching Courses – Online Foundation Hurling and Football, Award 1 Youth Hurling
Online Foundation Hurling course
This will be available online from the 20th of November 2016. In order to enrol on this course you will need to follow the information below
You will first need to register on the E-Learning GAA website http://learning.gaa.ie
Upon registering on the website, please complete the following steps
- Click on the E-Learning tab on main page.
- Click on the coach option on next page.
- Click Leinster and then Wicklow on the map of Ireland.
- Click the E-Learning tab, open then Wicklow E-Learning Wicklow Foundation Hurling Course 2016 026 course and register.
Coaches must complete all sections of the theory online as well as attend a practical session to receive certification. Please note there is a monitoring system online that will let us know if coaches have engaged with the material online and the course cannot be completed on a tablet device. On completion of course we will organise a practical session in a central venue on the 8th of December at 7.30pm. This information will be emailed to coaches on completion of the online section. The cost of course is €10

Award 1 Youth Hurling Course
This Course will run for 7 sessions over a 4 Month Period starting 30th November 2016 - February 2017
If this course is of interest to coaches from your clubs (especially those working with Youth team can you please ask them to contact Hugh Kenny, Jonathan Tallon, Garrett Doyle or Paul Garrigan as soon as possible. We have put a cut off date of the 25th of November in order to give us enough time to select suitable candidates if required. Please note ALL coaches must have completed the Foundation Course before they can be selected to complete the Award 1.
