Camogie Blitz
On Wednesday the 15th of February Allianz Cumann na mBunscol held a camogie blitz in Ballinakill. On some very mucky pitches there was great skill, determination and teamwork on show from the girls that took part. The blitz was very well attended with ten teams competing from Gaelscoil Chill Mhantáin, St Kevin’s, Our Lady’s Rathdrum, Aughrim and St Patrick’s National School Bearna. Each team had five matches and we look forward to the next camogie blitz in May. Many thanks to Johnny Tallon for organising the pitches, to all who refereed games and to the schools for sending teams to the blitz.
