Super Skills on Show at Day One of Hurling

The first hurling blitz of the Allianz Cumann na mBunscol Chill Mhantáin calendar took place last Wednesday on a sunny autumn day in Bray Emmets GAA grounds. Ten teams in total took part on the day, namely St Cronan’s, St Patrick’s, Wicklow Town, Scoil Chualann, Gaelscoil Uí Chéadaigh, Gaelscoil Chill Mhántáin, Newtown, St Laurence’s and St Fergal’s. The focus of the day was participation and with points being the only way to score. Each team played five games with a range of hurling skills being executed brilliantly by the children. Day two of the blitz will take place in Bray Emmets on the 26th of September at 11:45am.
