Girls Football Thriving in the Garden County

There was a fine turnout at theindoor football tournament for girls on the 9ú Feabhrain Loughlinstown Leisure Centre. The emphasis in this competition was on participation and sport for all. 

Every team had at least 3 or 4 matches and players got an opportunity to try out different positions on the court.  There were many fine players on show, no doubt stars of the future. Schools represented were Kilcoole, Roundwood, Aughrim, Moneystown, St. Kevin’s, St. Fergals and St. Brigid’s.
