Day 2 Saw a Super Turn out in Bray

Body:

Teams descended on Bray Emmets creating an atmosphere of enthusiasm for being out in the fresh air and playing Gaelic football.  Schools represented included St. Kevin’s, St. Cronan’s, Scoil Chualann, St. Pat’s, Newtown, Ashford, Kilmac, St. Brigid’s, Kilcoole, Greystones Educate Together, Roundwood, Gaelscoil Uí Chéadaigh, Gaelscoil na Clocha Liath, Greystones Community National School, Moneystown and St. Peter’s, with many schools bringing two or more teams.  There were 6 round robin groups with each team playing a minimum of 3 games.  There was some great score taking, passing and teamwork but best of all was the atmosphere of enjoyment and seeing the smiling faces of the boys who got the chance to once again participate and wear their school jersey with pride.

Thanks again to Dave Barry and Willie Braine of Bray Emmets and the Young Whistlers from Coláiste Ráithín and Pres Bray who contributed hugely to the smooth running of the blitz.
