A Day Emily Will Never Forget!

Congratulations to Emily who represented Cumann na mBunscol Chill Mhantáin and Lacken NS in the INTO Mini 7’s in Croke Park recently.  Maith thú Emily!

Is mise Emily Ní Bhrú. Tá mé i rang a sé i Scoil Náisúinta Leacain i gContae Chill Mhantáin.

I was very excited when my teacher said there were GAA trials test to get through to play football at Croke Park. I got through the trials in Ballinakill and got to represent my school and Wicklow in Croke Park.

On July 10th I represented Lacken N.S and County Wicklow at half time in Croke Park at the semi-final between Dublin and Kerry.  It was an amazing day and I was so proud to get to play in Croke Park. I really felt like I was playing in an actual All Ireland semi-final and hopefully one day I do get to play in Croke Park again.

Thanks to the INTO and Cumann na mBunscol for a day I will never forget!
