Dreams Do Come True!

Congratulations to Josh who represented Cumann na mBunscol Chill Mhantáin and Scoil Naomh Iosaf Baltinglass in the INTO Mini 7’s in Croke Park at the All-Ireland Final!

I was very excited when my teacher organised for 5th and 6th class to participate in trials for the Cumann Na mBunscol competition.

This was a chance for me to play in Croke Park. I fortunately won the trials in Blessington and Ballinakill. The prize was to represent my school, club and county in Croke Park.

A few weeks later news came through that I would be playing at half time in the All-Ireland Final!

Kerry v Galway on Sunday 24th July was the big day. I was super excited. It was the best experience ever and I will treasure the memories of the day forever. I played for Galway in the number 8 jersey. To enter the pitch while 82,500 people watched you play was a dream come true. It was also great to play with other boys from all over Ireland.

I would like to thank Scoil Naomh Iosaf Baltinglass, Wicklow GAA, INTO and Cumann Na mBunscol for making this dream come true.
