3^rd / 4^th Class Indoor Boys/Girls’ Hurling/Camogie Blitz

19^th, 26^th January Venue to be confirmed.

Indoor hurling/camogie blitz for boys and girls in 3^rd and 4^th Class. Young Whistlers can used. These are not mixed boys/girl’s teams, i.e., boys and girls will play separately.

The emphasis in this competition is on participation and sport for all, 7 a-side.

Schools will attend on 1 of these days.

2^nd March Bray Emmets        

Eleven-a-side and no age limit at 11.45 a.m.

Points only, goalkeeper. 3 points for a point, 1 point for a goal.

Girls’ Wicklow Times Shield Day 1

9^th March at 11.45 a.m. in Bray – 9 a-side

Goalkeeper, points worth 3, goals worth 1 point

INTO Skills Challenge        

(Two pupils per school may participate in each discipline - Boys’ and Girls’ Football, Camogie and Hurling.)

Regional events will take place on the week of 13^th March (on the Mon/Tue/Wed) and those selected will go forward to a county selection day which will be held on the week of the 20^th March (on the Mon/Tue/Wed) in Ballinakill. 

Credit Union Cup (Hurling)           

18^th May at 11.45 a.m. (Venue to be confirmed). One day boys’ nine-a-side hurling blitz.  Competitive based games.

Allianz Camogie Day           

25^th May at 11.45 a.m. (Venue to be confirmed).  One day girls’ nine-a-side camogie blitz.  Competitive games.

Sports Day Meeting             

Wednesday 31^st May at 8.00 p.m. in Newtownmountkennedy Primary School

It is imperative that any school participating in Sports Day 2023 is represented at this meeting.
